So You Think Google AdWords Are Your Only PPC Option? Think Again.

For most small businesses, when it comes to PPC advertising, it's Google AdWords that comes to mind. But there are other pay-per-click options that are lesser known, but may be a great match for your business:

Option 1: Facebook Advertising

Facebook Ad ExampleIf you're looking to reach a targeted audience, Facebook advertising is a great option. Horse owners in Langley - no problem. Small business owners who enjoy camping and hockey - you can find them too.

You can use Facebook advertising to grow your likes on Facebook, or you can direct people to a landing page and use your advertising to collect your prospects' contact information.

Don't forget to offer your prospects something of value, like an eBook, in exchange for their "like" or contact information.

Option 2: LinkedIn Advertising

For B2B companies, LinkedIn Advertising is a great option, especially when used to narrowly target your audience - for example - CGA's in Vancouver.

Option 3: Promoted Tweets

If your audience uses Twitter, you can purchased Promoted Tweets in order to reach a wider group than your personal Twitter followers. You can target tweets using a specific hashtag, or search term. This is a great option to increase your number of followers.

Option 4: YouTube Video Targeting

For anyone who's watched a video on YouTube lately, you can't help but notice the advertising. You can target ads to display on particular video channels, overlay on the videos themselves or play as videos prior to the real video selected.
